This website is a great opportunity to present this information to lots of people.  It can be even bigger than it is with your help.  We have created this site, free of charge to our members to learn, discuss, teach and present information to each other and the general public.  On a daily basis, We get emails asking how to become a storm spotter or storm chaser.  While we do provide a little bit of information, we always tell the emailer to visit the website and sign-up.

    Some of them do and others don't.  That is ok, but we need to continue to work on this site on a regular basis, adding new content to the site itself, the forum, adding photos and more.  Each registered member of this site is able to submit a news story or other story to be included on the site.  You can type one up when you sign in or you can email it and we will add it for you.  While we do not allow members to just post anything to the site, we do review and consider all items that are presented.  If they fit the site, they will get published, its that easy, but we need your help to keep the material fresh.

    While we do offer this site free of charge, there are still some expenses that go along with it.  We need your help to insure that it remains online and active to other members and the public as well.  First, we need to continue to recruit new members.  Its been a slow growth process, but if we each send out a couple of invites, we can continue to grow on a daily basis.  Second, we need support for the site.  We need your help by making a simple donation that we can use for the continued operation of the site and email system.  While in most cases parts of this are donated, not all of the services are.  You can make a simple $5 donation by visit our donation page today.  Its very easy to use, quick, safe and secure.  BY making a donation, you will help to keep this site on the web and receive a tax donation receipt at the same time.

    We need you.  Our members is what makes this site the place it is.  You photos of storms, snow, hail, kids, etc., all work together to bring this place and its members alive.  Not everything has to be about a tornado or flash flood, it can be about snow, blizzards, hurricanes and more.  Any unique photo that is somehow weather related it welcome, but needs to be family friendly, as we have lots of kids that visit this site for information.

    If you have something that would interest kids and youth, please send it along.  This is becoming a valuable tool for kids that are learning about weather, storms, spotting and more.  What a great opportunity to reach out and make a difference.  Have a video, please let us know and we will get it posted on the site.  Got an idea for a website banner that we can share to other to help promote the site, please let us know.  If you do graphics, send us what you have, we would love to include it.

    We still have our request for different Storm Spotters United™ logos that can be used on the website, throughout the year.  Its easy, just use our official logo name and uase images for different times of the year and we will rotate them on the site, similar to how Google does it to show what time of year it is.
