Yes, all donations made through this site are tax deductible under the law.  This site is maintained and run by Kaufman County ARES, Inc., a registered 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.  Donations that are made are used for various programs and projects.  A small portion of donations, less than $10 will go to keep this website online, wihle the rest will be divided up between the following programs:

  1. The Kaufman County ARES/CERT Legacy Scholarship Fund
  2. The Kaufman County ARES/CERT Boy Scout Scholarship Fund
  3. The Kaufman County ARES Amateur Radio Scholarship Fund
