    As we all know, Oklahoma has been getting a large share of storms over the last month, with major tornadoes being produced.  This past Friday, May 31 was no different.  The chasing community is saddened not only by the lose of lives out there do to these storms and others, but also for the lives of storm chasers Tim Samaras, his storm chaser partner Carl Young, and his son Paul Samaras.  They were killed close to El Reno by an EF3 tornado as it ripped through the area.

skywarn    Sorry for the delay everyone, its been a busy month or two and know we are finally getting some weather related events going again here in Texas.  Now onto the news, we have now added a link to the only National Weather Service approved online basic Storm Spotters course.  This course is free to take and if officially recoginzed and approved by the NWS.  To learn more, view our online course link page.
